Australian dream ticket («we», «us», «our») is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Supervisory authority: Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) — oaic.gov.au.
1. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account information: email address, username, date of birth (18+ age verification), password (stored as bcrypt hash only — never plain text), Australian state/territory (optional, for State of Dreams feature)
- Gameplay data: Dream Ticket Draw picks and results, slot spin history, card game results, Dream Coins balance, Dream Board progress, Dream Milestones level, session timestamps
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type and OS, session duration — collected under legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, platform improvement)
- Payment data (Dream Pass only): processed via Stripe. Australian dream ticket does not store card numbers.
- Communications: support emails and contact form submissions
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION (APP 6)
- To create and operate your account and authenticate sessions
- To run Dream Ticket Draw, Dream Destinations Slots, Dream Table Games, and Dream Board
- To process Dream Pass subscription payments and issue GST-compliant tax invoices
- To send service communications (required) and marketing communications (opt-in, Spam Act 2003 compliant)
- To calculate and display leaderboards, Dream Board progress, and Dream Milestones
- To enforce Terms of Service and prevent fraud and abuse
- To comply with applicable Australian law
3. YOUR RIGHTS (APP 12 — Access, APP 13 — Correction)
- Access (APP 12): contact privacy@australiandreamticket.com. We respond within 30 days.
- Correction (APP 13): correct inaccurate information in Settings → Account or via email
- Account deletion: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Data removed promptly.
- Marketing opt-out: unsubscribe link in every marketing email (Spam Act 2003)

4. NOTIFIABLE DATA BREACHES (Privacy Act 1988, Part IIIC)
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify the OAIC and affected individuals as soon as practicable. We maintain an internal NDB response procedure.
5. DATA RETENTION
- Account and gameplay data: retained while account is active; deleted promptly upon account deletion request
- Payment/GST records: retained 5 years (ATO requirements)
- Technical logs: retained 90 days, then deleted
6. OVERSEAS DISCLOSURE (APP 8)
Some service providers are located outside Australia (United States, EU). We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the APPs. By using the Platform, you consent to this cross-border disclosure.
